Creating Leadership
How does one become a leader?
I was driving home the other day and I thought “how does one become a leader” So I thought about what a leader should do and what abilities they posses. I then took another look at how does one evolve into a leadership role, this is what I came up with:
- Lack of Decision Makers-
There is no leadership when no one can make a decision or the decision makers are away from the office. Be a Decision Maker.
- Lack of a Clear Vision
When one has a clear vision of what they want and can communicate that vision, you have a leader. Have a Clear Vision.
- Knowing what is right
Knowing the difference between right and wrong is an ingredient to becoming a leader.
- Doing the Right Thing
Knowing right from wrong can be different than doing the right thing. Doing the right thing may go against your beliefs but it’s the right thing.
An example might be a customer who is wrong and you know they’re wrong but they think they’re right. You want to make the customer happy so you do the right thing in order to get a referral even though it’s not right.
